I'm well, thanks. End of holidays and now back on the pitch. It is always a bit hard at first but rhythm is coming back.

How did The USA Tour go?

Fine. We played against very good teams and that was an excellent preparation! I wasn't able to play against the NY Redbulls due to a calf injury during training.

This new season appears to be quite exciting with the Champions League?

Yes, you are right. We are all highly motivated and I can tell you we will not let a thing go! More seriously, it is a big thing for my career to be able to play in such a competition. It is like a dream that is about to come true!

It is the opportunity for you to come on the European scene?

It is more than that. It is the occasion for me to show the Club all it has brought me and that I will never forget the ongoing and unfailing support the Club and all the fans have given me. My personal career is less important. I really want Tottenham to succeed in the Champions League and not only be mere onlookers.

Did you watch the football World's Cup and the French squad?

Of course I did, so as everybody else. I felt some pain regarding all that happened but they have to use their errors in order to move on and I know the French squad will manage to do that. That team has such spirit and Iʼm convinced the players will demonstrate it! I think we should move on from what happened in South Africa. France has a great record and such talented players.
